If you have a state grant with the SC Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA), there are financial and programmatic guidelines to ensure projects are carried out in a timely manner and funds are spent in accordance with performance objectives. The RIA’s Project Management Procedures should answer most questions about the state grant administration process. In addition, there are standardized Program Forms that must be used by grant recipients to request payments, enter into agreements with sub-recipients as well as to provide progress and close-out reports of accomplishments. RIA staff can help grantees to navigate the administration and management of funded projects in accordance with program requirements.
“Funds provided by the SC Rural Infrastructure Authority can make infrastructure challenges more manageable and help minimize some of the burden placed on rural customers.”
