Orchids Paper Products Company announced its plans to establish operations in the City of Barnwell. RIA provided funds for the construction of a new pump station and installation of force main to serve the manufacturing plant locating in the Barnwell County Industrial Park. The city leveraged an additional $900,000 to complete the project. The anticipated results includes 134 new jobs and $117 million in capital investment, which will have a long-term economic impact on the surrounding community.
