In FY19, the City of Manning received an Economic Infrastructure grant to make improvements to the sewer trunk line serving the Clarendon County Industrial Park. The existing line was nearly 50 years old and had severely deteriorated. As a result of the project, more than 3,700 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe was installed. In addition to the industrial park, the improvements benefited nearby residents as well as the Town of Summerton since all of its wastewater flows through this line. In total, 124 business and 735 residential customers benefited from this project.
