Liberty-Chesnee-Fingerville Water District

The Liberty-Chesnee-Fingerville Water District – which provides water in the northeast portion of Spartanburg County – received a Basic Infrastructure grant to upgrade a network of water lines serving 110 residential customers. The existing 2-inch lines were approximately 50 years old, severely deteriorated and near the end of their useful life. As part of the project, 3-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch water lines were installed to improve water quality in the area by replacing substandard line sizes and eliminating a dead-end line. The completed project further improved the quality of life for area residents by providing adequate water supply and pressure.
